The Office Space uses its function in a comical way that shows the audience that its genre is comedy. The title credits use a bright blue and a bubble like font, putting across the comical vibe. The credits for the company also use the same font. The music that the scene opens with, is an upbeat song that has a jazzy feel to it. It fits into the shots of the scene as with each beat, the camera moves to a different shot, adding another comical feel and the scenes for the beginning sequence are comical as they show the stress of people waiting in traffic attempting to get to work on time.

Analysis of Opening Sequence
Analysing the opening sequence of the film "Office Space", helped me to gain an idea of the importance of an opening sequence. The opening sequence of Office Space is used for company credits, title credits, list of actors, sound and a variety of shots allowing the audience to get a sense of the surroundings and environment in which the film is set, it could also give away clues to the plot and help introduce the characters.
